MICHAEL R. JARECKI is the principal of Jarecki Law Group, LLC in Chicago, a full-service U.S. immigration firm that provides customized representation for businesses, individuals and families. His practice includes all areas of immigration law, including representation before immigration agencies and courts, handling appeals from agency and court decisions, and litigating immigration issues in the U.S. federal courts.

Michael volunteers or has served in various leadership capacities for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), including as an elected director of AILA’s Board of Governors and former Chair of both the AILA Chicago Chapter and the AILA National LGBT Working Group. He has been recognized by SuperLawyers for Immigration since 2012 and was honored as one of the Best LGBT Attorneys Under 40, Class of 2012, by the National LGBT Bar Association, an affiliate of the American Bar Association.
